Damn, I leave the site for a couple of days and what the hell has happened?

There are like 5 or 6 posts in the Boards with people basically (by that I mean at the heart of their comments to each other) calling one another racists, while other posts are bashing Mia for her crucifixion set.

Then I realized something; there are a lot of points that I'd like to make, and of course I feel they are valid (but then they are my points), but I hesitate to post any of them. My recent run-in with having made an off-color remark myself has apparently rendered me a little trigger shy on all the boards that have touchy topics. It kind of adds to the feeling I already had, that I do not quite fit in here.

I am also exhausted. I have not had any sleep in...29 hours as I type this. Now, going upwards of 3 days without sleep is not uncommon for me, but the last couple of days have been particularly hectic. I think what really makes it worse is that I actually laid down about 5 times, to get some sleep today, and each time was forced to get back out of bed for one reason or another. It was that baiting with sleep that seems to have made this period particularly difficult. It will be around another 6-7 hours before I can sleep again.

I did have a great jam with my bandmate tonight, as he and I prepare to audition a drummer on Tuesday. The potential 3rd member of Tunghook has already met and talked with both of us once, and he seemed very enthused about joining the band. Obviously a lot remains to be seen, but it has been encouraging for Matt and I. With luck, it has not been deceptively so.

I have met her, whom I believe to be the most incredible woman I have ever known. Too bad, I met her at least 5 years too late.
