Never one to get my hopes up, I do have a few things to possibly look forward to.

I believe I have mentioned in a previous entry...if not, I mention it now...that the band I joined last June, Tunghook, is on an indefinate hiatus while we look for a new drummer and bassist. In the meantime I have been trying to craft new material both for Tunghook, and for a project I intend to front.

I may have found a collaborator, of sorts, and a space to record. We could begin as early as next week.

He is a good friend of mine and has his own material he wishes for me to help him lay down. I do not know yet how involved he wants to be in my work, in terms of whether or not I can call him a "bandmate" just yet, but we will certainly be helping each other.

It could finally be a step forward to fronting a band again. I am happy to be in Tunghook, and intend to remain there for as long as the band exists. I just have too many aims, musically, that I can not meet lest I am the frontman of a project again. Having a completed album of my work should do wonders to help me assemble a new band.

Damn I ramble.

I suppose I should get to work.
