Wasn't just last week that I was discussing the constant wave of change in my social existence in someone's journal...I believe it was that of PullOffMyWings?

I re-joined SG in mid-February after a haitus of at least 9 months, and upon my return I was overwhelmed. When I was here in early '03, I liked the site, it seemed great and all, but for whatever reason, I wasn't getting a lot of interaction with anyone.

Now that I've returned, it's as if one of us...the site or myself...is totally different. People are talking to me, some even warming up to me, and visa-versa. The interaction and the feeling of...well frankly the feeling like I belong someplace...is palpable.

But, at least two of my new, and already it seems, close friends look like they'll be leaving, if only for a while. A third may be right behind them.

I'm sure the ship will right itself in some way or another, soon enough, but I can't help but wonder if this is the beginning of a trend.

In at least one case, I also worry that I played some small part in prompting a friend's need to get away for a while.

Truthfully I think everything will be just fine for all parties involved, but isn't it funny, just a few days ago I was discussing this topic in Wings' journal, and now the topic seems to be manifesting itself in, to me, a very abrupt way?

Oh well, to any friends in transition, I hope all is and will be well with you, and I'll talk to you when I can.
