Political Lies

People in power
Make rules to suit themselves
In hopes to devour
With no regard to how it affects anyone else

Injustices to the real world
The ones who live in it suffer
As their ideas are forcefully hurled
The rest of us suffer


Why should we put our lives on hold
For people who have sold their soul
In the search of fools gold
Instead of keeping ourselves whole.

Who are you to choose someone elses beliefs
Because of your political views
Spewing another motif
There you go tainting peoples hues

Pushing your beliefs onto the masses
Not your decision to make
Thinking we wear tinted glasses
We are awake

Keep your lies close to your heart
for our soul shine bright
We know the kindred will never part
As much as it would be to your delight

So we say to you
Keep to yourself your decay
We will always stay true
And live our true way.
