Liberties

Our liberties are being stripped away
One by one in the name of increased security
How much more must we pay
For their impurities


With every breath they take
They suck the life right out of us
For we are no longer free
When we choose to disagree
Or when we make a fuss

Soldiers fight for what they believe
To only later find out, they have been deceived
Deceived by the very individuals who put them in harms way
And lead them astray

They sugar coat the truth
And corrupt the minds of our youth
But when the coating comes off
Their lies are a bitter pill to swallow
We are no longer going to follow

I ask fellow Americans to stand up and fight
for their privacy and civil rights
before America is no more the land of the free
and all that is left is the governmental clones of you and me
