When Will We Learn
When will we learn to respect Mother Earth and all that she gives us? When will we learn to accept & appreciate each other and all of our differences? We could learn so much from one another, if only we would take the time to get to know each other instead of hating each other because of our differences. When will we learn that we were not put on this earth to slowly destroy it, ourselves & each other? We were put here to love and cherish the earth and humankind and to learn from one another and to grow. When will we learn from our past mistakes? Have we not seen enough civilizations die off because of war caused by our fear of the unknown, our hatred, our differences, our own stupidity, and our quest to be all powerful? Have we not seen countless species die off in the name of advancement, technology, commercialization & science? When will we learn not to kill our fellow human? The spirits above look down on their children in disbelief and wonder what we could possibly do next. When will they learn, they wonder. I'll tell you when we will learn. We will learn when it is too late. We will learn when all of Mother Earth's resources are gone. There will be no plant or animal life left, just a barren land void of all life. We have become extinct. The sad thing is..we did it to ourselves.
