My Heart's Dream

I know we have only known one another for a short while,
but tell that to a heart with no concept of time.

To look into your eyes brings a warmth to my heart,
and a smile to my face,
and I know there is no other place,
that I'd rather be,
then sitting next to you,
and having you next to me.

To hold you in my arms is pure delight,
and to kiss you makes my soul ignite.

For me to be able to take care of you,
would be a dream come true,
to be forever one with you.
