Wow, what a week. I found out last weekend I had to move out by the 30th, not June 1st as I was originally told. So in a mad flurry of house hunting, my brother and I looked at three places, the last of which we decided was the best bet. So we gave the landlady our references and waited to hear back from her.
Very early the next morning, on the 31st of May, we got a call saying that our references checked out. We went over to sign the lease, paid the damage deposit, rented a U Haul, and began moving our stuff in, including all the things I had in my storage unit. Talk about last minute.
I spent the next two days moving things around , unpacking, and organizing the place, and I'm quite happy with the results. I still need a few pieces of furniture, but half the room I moved into is my bedroom, while the other half will be my studio where I do all my designing and sewing. I'm very excited!
Tomorrow I go and pick up my replacement phone, since I lost my last one right after I changed my number. >.< I'm getting an LG smart phone with a pull out keyboard for free though, so I'm kind of glad I lost my other one. I was due for an upgrade.
Anyway, I'm off to do some more interior decorating. Probably another week before my studio's up and running; then I might have some pictures to post of the corsets I'm working on.

It's so hard to find the few Regina people that are here on the site. Moving sucks. I have an LG smart phone with the slide out keyboard and I love it. I'm due for an upgrade on it, but I think I"ll wait and get an iPhone sometime in the future.
