I work in corrections and the training we do is called cell extraction. We have fellow co-workers pose as inmates and we would go into a cell and try to extract the individual, by any means necessary. That does not mean to beat the living shit out of him-well it does but you have a camera there for litigation reasons- and you try to take out the inmate as humane as possible.
If the inmate resists and does not comply with your orders to "cuff up"-a position that is easliy acessable to you to apply handcuffs or leg irons, usually with the inmate laying on his stomach assuming the position of the cross-you can use a variety of pressure points to make said inmate comply.
