I'm trying really hard to get into the Christmas spirit, but it just ain't happenin', folks. I'm too tired, too broke, too unhappy...too many things. Every year, it's the same fucking thing...people yammering at me to cheer up...it can't be that bad...blah blah blah. Yeah well, fuck you. You aren't me, you don't know what's going on so take your jingle bells and use them to deck the halls of your ass, ok? Jesus, I'm sick of people trying to make me "feel better". I feel how I feel and no amount of holiday cheerleading can turn that around. I hate this time of year. It doesn't help that my birthday falls immediately after like some kind of loser's finish line reminding me of another year past with so little accomplished. So anyway, here's my holiday wish for this year. Let's get through the next week lickety split, zoom right past my birthday with as little maudlin fanfare as possible and move on into 2005 without missing a beat.
