Well time for my second post! It's been a pretty amazing week and also very sad. To start off my cat Charlie died of cancer. I had to put him down and my house feels so empty without him. He was the only animal I have ever loved and I hope wherever he is, he is having a great time. Now for some happier news. On Wensday I went to the ACC to see Slipknot! I had floor seats and had an amazing time. Of course prior to the tour James Root broke his wrist and he wasn't there which made me almost not go but even without James they were awsome! It was a short concert starting with Unearth, then As I Lay Dying and finally Slipknot. Unearth put on an amazing show and maybe I should have saved some of that energy for later on, but oh well. It was cool, Corey walked onsatge unmasked with his ass hanging out of his pants during the middle of the set. I loved how most people didn't even realize who it was. Now, heres the cool part! For As I Lay Dying was playing I decided to get some air and me being the audio freak I am I decided to watch the front of house guy do his thing when to my surprise Shawn "clown" walked in! I guess it's useful knowing what the members look like under the masks cause no one knew who he was. So it was amazing meeting clown talking to him about their music. Finally this past weekend was Digidays at Metal Works! Digidesign came down and did their Canadian release of Pro Tools 7. It was just crazy seminars and the best part was since I work at Metal Works I got to go to any seminar I wanted. So now I want to spend MORE money on my studio at home......sigh......why did I choose such an exspensive career. Well that was the past week of my life, and this week I can look forward to Avenged Sevenfold on Friday at The Kool Haus! I'll probably have a story for that as well. Peace people! nobzey
