Point of it? Never let someone who will never love you as much as you love them change who you are. Been there, done that, and it isn't worth a shit. I was actually stupid enough to attend her wedding to another guy because I thought I was being loyal. That shit was rough. Took me a long time to recover. Caused me to throw in the towel for a good many years. Probably cost me more than a few potential good relationships. Not looking for pity, just saying there's a story behind the post.
