Just had a nice time on the chat, meeting 'Aeryn' and 'X Obscure X'. I do so enjoy making new SG aquaintances.. (sp?).
Working on the trio still, but my bassist is flaking a little. Ah, the price we pay for talent. Whatever.. he's an artist like me.
Gotta get a PT day job soon to gather up more $$. Subsidizing art is a beee-otch. In Denmark, musicians have booking assistance, health insurance, etc.. all from the Govt.. Not Bushie's scene, ay?

Yeah I couldn't stop listening to it yesterday. You know how certain songs just weave themselves into everything you thinking and feeling and then you can't really seperate out whats you and whats them? Hmm does that make sense?

Funding for the arts the this country is pathetic- actually funding for a lot of really important things in this country is pathetic.

Yup. Makes sense. Music is good that way- but since Pop invades like that if ingested too regularly, I buy jazz records (anything on 1950-'60's Blue Note) and record my own band or local bands I like live. I reccommend a portable DAT player or for less serious stuff a MD player.
