howdy..
I'm home in my little joint here after about 7 days of rainy weather in Boston and a healthy cold to go with it. I'm telling you; the sun truly hasn't shown itself here for the whole time. 'Cause of my cold, I've been living without cigarettes, drinking oj, soup, sleeping about average (but not much considering my condition... working/playing a lot). So yesterday, the skies cleared outside for the most part and I'm almost done hurling snot out of my nose. This is an improvement.
I played a few gigs over the past couple of weeks. One was with my trio opening for the Austrailian band, the Cat Empire.. another was with a cool local songwiter. Interesting mix of styles. One show, loud, aggressive modern electric guitar with bass and drums and the other gig just laying out long western tones with delays and 'soundscapes'. A solo/looping here and there. Hm. I might start in on songwriting (with vocals) some more this fall and do some solo shows.
I hope you're all well. The sun's out again.
Maybe I'll succeed in not starting smoking again..(?)urg.

Sorry for the ridiculously long space between postings.
Well, I'm still working and living in Boston. Lots of nightclub work and musical exploits. My guitar playing has taken many forms- lately, more in paying gigs with modern R+B bands and with my trio, which is experimental electric guitar with bass and drums. Lots of looping and fast solos. *brrrrrmmm!!*
I go to NYC to play and visit at least 1x every 2 months. I can't seem to kick Manhattan and Brooklyn. Love it, and my friends there. The East/West Villages late night can't be topped.
I love hearing from you. Please drop a line and flirt with me.
Best,
>N9!
