In a list of five:
1) Although, a bit cold it has been rather gorgeous out lately.
2) I am through with work for the season AND have a job to come back to, which means I can actually pay for my trip!
3) Very excited to go back home and see the folks, friends and my old friend New York City.
4) Please send good packing mojo, my way. I have never gone anywhere for more than 5 days and have been wrought with concern in regards to if I am packing too much, too little and jesus christ what am I forgetting?!
5) I bought a new little point and shoot for my trip. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it felt like it was the right one to go with. When I got home and took a few test shots, I was really pleased with the images.

I saw these tired shoes taking a break under the street lamp while out for a walk
