Ha! If you can believe it, I am a SUPER big dork today. What a fun day it's been (all except for that parking ticket, which I can probably get rid of when I get a new permit tomorrow).
I have a student! For the next five weeks I will be teaching and doing research with a new student. This is very new for me. I was so hyper and random. Introductions, lab space, background, project, protocols. At least it's an easy project (assessment of the translational efficiency of my gene with differing transcriptional start sites, in vitro). See! Dork.
You guys are so awesome! You've made my life so much more fun recently (especially at work, which you can see to the left, is not so fun).
