Soooooooooooo..........I had my first unplanned day off yesterday!!! 
Because I work for the Navy, a sudden day off is RARE. The only reason I got said day off was because Old Man Winter dumped over a foot of snow on Norfolk over the weekend....roughly 11"-12" all day Saturday (starting at about 3AM or so), then another 3"-5" early Sunday morning. I have NEVER experienced a snow event like this one while I've been here in Virginia, so it was VASTLY surprising to me to see everything shut down the way it did. What did I do on my day off??? Not a DAMN thing! I sat on my ass ALL DAY and vegged out on the Internet and some good ol' fashioned MW2 action. I'm back at work now, and I'm hearing whisperings of possibly MORE days off because of freezing rain that should be hitting us between now and tomorrow morning. Let's just hope nothing goes to shit because of these off days...
