CAN YOU BELIEVE THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE! So a while back I was looking for roommates, and I got a reply from a guy. I went to meet him. He told me he was in the military and just got out, and was looking for a place to stay while he was trying to get a job. So I'm like, ok, I'm military, so I'll take pity on you and help you out. Help you get on your feet. So I tell him I'll float you the first month's rent. I even help him out by letting him borrow my futon to sleep on, and hook him up with a friend who helped him get a job. It's now 2 months later. I haven't seen a penny of rent. He stop going to the job I hooked him up with. I saw his in his room and it's trashed. I gave him a week to get out. come the end of the week I ask him why he hasn't left, and he has the gall to tell me that I have to give him a 30 day notice. And the police won't help me.

This is the second time I have gone out of my way to help someone and got screwed over. What is the saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Well this is two strikes, and I'm not looking for strike three.
