So last week I learned that they Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions (updated old school Tactics PSP version) was available on the iOS. I downloaded that immediately on my iTouch and now have spent many hours reliving one of my favorite games from my younger years. I forgot how awesome of a tragic hero Ramza was. Poor kid, constantly screwed but 100% righteous, definitely a hero in my book.

I also got a Jerusalem Cross tattoo on my right wrist. This has significance to me because of these Kairos retreats I went to and lead back in college. The biggest thing I learned from these retreats (other than finding my spirituality) is that one can never dismiss a problem as insignificant. Everyone has problems and just because you feel yours may not be as bad as another person's problems it is important to remember that if it is bothering you, you should seek help. Sometimes the silliest things put us in real dark places and finding out that I was not the only one who could hurt that badly on these retreats was something so important. After the retreat each participant was given a Jerusalem Cross necklace and taught the suscipe prayer which goes as follows, "Receive, O Lord, all my liberty. Take my memory, my understanding, and my entire will. Whatsoever I have or hold, You have given me; I give it all back to You and surrender it wholly to be governed by your will. Give me only your love and your grace, and I am rich enough and ask for nothing more." I used to pray this every time I put the necklace on and nowadays since I never wear it I wanted to remember the prayer and all the lessons learned on those retreats so now I will see the Jerusalem Cross every day on my wrist.

Well, going to play some more Tactics and I still need to get a lot of Skyrim on. I am going to Rubalad this Saturday in Brooklyn, if anyone is going let me know!
