So I am making great strides to better myself and my life. The biggest is a new job. I don't have it officially yet, but by the end of this coming week everything should be finalized one way or another. I really really hope to get it. Beyond the major increase in income, it also means a better work environment, benefits (health, dental, vision), access to the hospital's fitness center, and just overall job security.
It isn't a super awesome job, but it is a stepping stone into a different field. I hope this will be the start of a great new chapter in my life. _aurora_ and I are starting to get more serious about planning our wedding. And by we, I mean her, as I can hardly get an opinion in most times. Not that horrible, since I don't have a dream wedding in my head, other than marrying the love of my life. Should have a date set in a bit.
All in all this is going to be a pretty big chapter in my life, one way or another.

it was all out, but compared to a full on wedding in the UK it was really cheap

we have a load of stuff all around the house, but the trend in the UK at the moment is to break in, steal the car keys and then steal the car. It's easier for the thieves as they don't have to spend ages in the house and get somehing of considerable value very easily
