I am a born again PS2 owner. I have to say, the new slim PS2 is the cutest electronic I own. I couldn't believe it when I opened the box, it is just so tiny.
I had Guitar Hero just sitting in a box for a week collecting dust, because the person I bought a PS2 from on eBay never sent it. They had an auction for 2 units, starting at $100 plus $10 shipping. I won it for the opening bid, and waited and waited for an email saying it was shipped with a tracking number. I sent emails, then finally opened a dispute with Paypal. They issued me a refund, but no explaination. The thing is, I have to wait for the refund to clear, because they didn't have the funds in their account. Meaning the money I sent was already spent/transfered to their bank account. The refund better clear.
Guitar Hero is really fun, the most fun I have had playing a game on my own in a long time. Unfortunatly I suck pretty hard at about halfway through Medium difficulty. I guess I have bad technique, because I can't do the fast intricate stuff, and that is only on Medium!
I don't even want to imagine how hard the other difficulties are. I would love if they made a version of slow/chill music. Stuff that is easier to play, but the button presses go along with the music, not just simple and not hitting all the big beat lines. (Like the Easy mode of most of the songs)
My favorite song to play is right at my limit of being able to play it well and have fun with it. Even Rats by The Slip. It is exactly the kind of songs I would love to see on a Guitar Hero Version in the future.
