I know my memory isn't the best. It is down right horrible. Even the most climactic moments in my life are mostly just flashes and foggy images and emotions.

I got to thinking about how horrible my memory is for things, when I had to think really hard about how old I was. I was doing age math to figure out how old my sister was. (I just said I, how, and was way too many times.

The thing is, my memory and mind isn't that of a sloth. If someone names off digits, I can easily and quickly recall them in reverse order.

I discovered this talent during a psychology class, when the professor wanted to demonstrate some preliminary IQ tests to the class. (Her main living was doing IQ testing for the state, or something like that) Anyway... She picked me and we started going. first 5 digits, then 6, 7, 8, and I finally faultered after a few 9 digit long ones.
It was pretty funny because the rest of the class was just staring slack jawed at either the professor or me. She was all excited and went on to try other tests on me.
It was fun

When it comes to important yet pretty simple things, I am useless. Sort of depressing that I can't remember many things.

I can't believe you would lose hope in me. It may take a while but I eventually get into things.
The next several days are going to take forever to get through. And its no fun that our schedules don't match up. But I can't wait to see you Sunday.
