i spent last term convinced i was failing. i almost dropped some classes to prevent the inescapable incompletes &d's. well, anyway, i thought the best i could possibly do was b's.
so i checked my grades online the other day &had a 4.0.
given that this is my third year of college &i've managed to maintain a B+ average, you'd think i'd know by now that i'll be okay.
but, no. it's always doom &gloom &imminent catastrophe for me. i even inserted (thinly disguised)an abject apology for my poor performance &a plea for recognition as a worthy human being into one of my final portfolios.
