Speaking of Japanese, I decided last night that I had been really lazy on my whole learning-Japanese thing. So I set about labeling my apartment with my Japanese labels. I quickly discovered that it was going to be difficult, starting with the rooms. I live in a damn studio apartment! So I had to label the walls with appropriate bits of furnishings: "shinshitsu"(bedroom) over the bed, "Ima"(living oom) over the sofa, "daidokoro"(kitchen) over the stove... then it got harder. It's a bit of a stretch to label Edgar and Allen's tank as "niwa"(yard), but it's the only lawn around. Under the bed is going to have to be the basement, and even though I HAVE a dog, she's not fond of sticky labels, so that's a fail...
Also, I consider watching "Versus" to be totally practicing my Japanese. It has nothing at all to do with Tak Sakaguchi in leather pants. Nothing at all.
