I was pretty busy on Saturday. Busier than I like to be, but it was all good stuff so I can't complain. And then Sunday (today), I had absolutely nothing that I had to do. It was fabulous. I slept a lot. Updated my myspace profile. Yee haw.

There's this neat website where you can make stickers and notecards and all that good stuff from your own photos. I want to make some stickers, but I keep changing my mind on how I want them to look and which photos I want to use I honestly don't know where this ambivalence came from, because usually I would have some ridiculous number of sticker books ordered. (shrugs) maybe I'm getting better with my money?

I'm not at all coming to terms with my new diagnosis, but I am tossing it around a bit. Everything I've ever encountered before was fixable. At least treatable. My treatment options now are both so temporary, and I have to really change how I go about my everyday life. Narcolepsy is something that happens to other people, people who have time to take a nap while at work. It happens to people who can either afford taxis, live on bus routes, or are within walking distance of the things they need. It shouldn't happen to me, whose car is in storage. Just like the rest of my life.

Mope. Whine. Piss and moan.

It was a beautiful day. Drizzling and grey. Perfect for napping.

Guess it's time to get back to dreaming.

At least your way with words is not in storage. Don't know how shiny a silver lining that is to you though...

I almost had an attack of the spendees at Meijer today. There was a discontinued $70 fryer marked down to $59.50 and a $30 window fan marked down to $20 in my cart. I had almost made it to the checkout when I told myself I really didn't need an 1800W fryer (no matter how cool it would be for cooking hot dogs) and I could survive without another window fan--at least until pay day.

I think I did well. Still spent $65 on food, but food is a NEED, not a "I could really use...".
