what an interesting day... where to start?
my mortgage prequalification meeting went well. I don't know anything yet, but that to be expected. while at the bank and waiting for my taxi, I ran into my coworker who was making our deposit. she offered to take me back to work on one condition: we had to stop at steak and shake.
I got a grilled cheese with tomato and a chocolate malt. yum!
while at work,
two bouquets of flowers came for me! one had a very nice note from my parents, and the other came with "an intentionally blank" card.
my cunt bubble coworker is a little tiring.
SPOILERS! (Click to view) we have a "look to book" policy, but she looks for problems. problems are amazing. if you look, you will find them! I thought I was just being paranoid until I heard her laugh victoriously over a contract error. anyway, we have several deals with "missing stips," or very minor things we need before we will fund them. things like phone bills. it's so annoying bugging an f&i manager for a phone bill once they've already delivered the vehicle. she organizes these files by dealership, which-- whatever. it's her business. the thing is that she doesn't deal with them except when she puts the deal on the books and when we receive the missing stip. I deal with the file to try to get that missing stip, and so it is far easier for me to have them organized by date. I reorded them. bad move! she put them back. okay, so, fighting over the order of files is like fighting over whether blinds are open or shut, right? they move. in this case, it's light fighting over whether blinds are open or shut when the people aren't even in the same room at the same time. it just doesn't fucking matter. so I don't care. she put them back, fine. I can look through all twelve files to check the dates once every day. no big deal. all I do is send a little fax. but she is so mad! she radiates anger! and everything I do seems to make her more angry! I'm at a complete and total loss.
(sigh)
I had an epiphany in Big Lots. a real one. the kind that make me stop and want to scream. the kind that, I'm pretty sure, is going to change my life. I told my mom. I think I got her thinking.
and then I came home, took a glorious cool shower, and am thoroughly enojying this beautiful weather.
I hope you are, too.
oh, as for smoking: most of today I didn't even have cravings. there was only one point I had one of the most intense cravings I've had in a long time, when a girl who works by me packed her cigarettes at her desk. it passed and I'm one day smoke free! wee!

Anyway, I agree wholeheartedly with GypsyPhoenix: cunt bubble is an awesome term, you should get that copyrighted or something a.s.a.p.
