my brother's friend is in law school. he took a clerking job. according to my brother, he is "taking trials." according to my brother, he is acting as an attorney. I explained to him that, as a 1L, doing so would get him disbarred before ever even taking the Bar.
he argued, citing Legally Blonde.
of course, I wouldn't know. I only went to a law school with a 98% Bar Exam pass rate and was head research clerk for a prestigious firm in the Detroit area. hollywood is a much better reference.
the bipolar group is pissing me off right now, too. I'm sick of non-bipolar people telling bipolar how it is, referring to "the disorder" as if those of us who have bipolar should be put in camps or something.
and finally, after nearly two months of waiting and a good deal of figurative teeth pulling, I got my records from the neurologist who diagnosed my PFO and seizure disorder. I read every word. it turns out that what he had said about having both general and localized seizures meant that my constant somatic tremor actually shows up on an EEG. the locations of the of the localized seizures are really interesting to me, too: the posterior temporal lobe and the subcortical cortex, parts of the brain that deal with speech, memory, and chemical reception to food and drugs.
I need to do more art.
I want, like now:
1. a tattoo
2. a new digital camera
3. a vibrator
but I either don't have the time, money, or means to buy on-line.... ugh
