after doing some research yesterday, it appears that I may have accidentally overdosed on cough medication on sunday. go me!

in other news, I finally figured out how to get pictures other than the ones I've taken with my phone or purchased from the cell phone company set as the wallpaper on my phone. I know, it really is quite silly how long it took, but I wasn't exactly trying to figure it out. so here's my new wallpaper:


I don't want to go to work today. I want to stay home and knit. but I'm so proud of myself because at the rate I'm going, I'm actually going to have overtime and I never get overtime. we don't get sick time and we don't get vacation time where I work. if you don't work, you don't get paid. and I re ran my numbers for last month, and I don't think I got bonus at all. I worked so, so hard to get my numbers in a good position and it did me no good.

I have my yearly echocardiogram next week. it really snuck up on me. ha ha ha I better get over this sicky stuff by then! actually, the echos are so cool now that my heart isn't just flopping around all over the place. I mean, it probably would be boring to most people-- it would probably be far more interesting before the repair-- but my heart looks so good! it's so solid and upright and it pretty much holds still while it beats. before the repair, it bounced all over the place. it looked like a butterfly. I pretty much didn't have a septal wall (14mm is huge in comparison to the size of the human heart), and so the whole top of the heart didn't have any support when it was beating. now it has a titanium "umbrella." well, it's Nitinol, to be exact, but titanium works for me. so I'm excited to go see my heart beating away like it's supposed to. go, little heart! go!
