I had two voluntary repossessions today. TWO!

one person was a skip (meaning I had no clue where she was and I had been looking for her), and apparently I found her and she didn't like being found. I called one phone number that was in Traverse City, about three hours away from Grand Rapids, where I work, and about four hours later, she was in the parking lot taking the plate off her van and tearing out.

so this is her van:

you can't really tell, but the actual frame is bent.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone could get a bend like that in a door....

and this is great, because not only is the window shot out, but there is nothing inside the van. no seats-- nothing. and she did an impressive number on the window, too. it must have taken a lot of work to get it out the way she did.

so unfortunately for her, I do know exactly where she works, which means that we can get a judgment and start garnishing her wages as soon as we sell the vehicle at a public auction.

heh, if you're curious, we usually go through
Miedema, M & W, and, for our high end stuff (e.g.: not this), ABC.

I've been in the repo/ credit industry for about three years. I can answer just about any question you might have. yee haw.

So girls night Wednesday night then? Bath said it's a go.

so credit question then...yesterday I had a customer come in to get a phone and I ran his credit and it came back rejected, so I had to call it in. Turns out he had a small block. The note said be weary of 'persons with similiar names' and that license and soc card must be shown and a question had to be answered....such as he had to give his previous address. Do you think that's a good idea that may prevent identity theft?
