I had three items showing in collections, none of which were my fault (one bill I paid, one bill went to grand rapids minnesota instead of grand rapids michigan until it went to collections, and the other went back and forth between my optical insurance and my medical insurance until it went to collections). I was actually denied employment because of this bullshit several weeks ago, and finally, today, with some help from my mommy, I got everything cleaned up.
okay, the work environment sucks, and I have serious issues with the underwriting, but I am good at what I do and I'm finally getting some positive reenforcement. on friday, there was a contest for the person who had the most "cleared sets," that is, the most people who made promises to pay and kept their arrangements. well, I had the highest percentage of cleared sets, and so I won a $100 car detail. I am very excited, because my car needs a deep clean. on top of that, I'm going to get my own accounts starting on Monday, so I'll have an opportunity for bonuses and I won't have to show up to work and have nothing to do all the time. the only down side is that I have my endoscopy on the 17th, and so I'm taking that Thursday and Friday off. boo.
I will probably be moving very soon, and this is very good. it will be fantastic to unpack after a year of living in transition.
