I had a royally shitty day at work, after a very difficult (cathartic) meeting with my therapist this morning.

then I went to my favorite joe stop in town on my lunch to talk with my favorite barista (baristo?) and he melted away my stress with chai and a smile.

he is doing things that require such strength right now.

I hate that I am so absorbed with my own chaos that I can't be much support. I hate feeling so helpless/ useless to ease the way.

and I know I'm not alone in the second sentiment. ah, but the last thing he needs is a second mother (especially when the first is doing such a good job worrying).

I am getting things moving for, well, moving. and I have health insurance that actually covers things starting tomorrow! WEE! I am so going to buy some prescriptions first thing tomorrow. I'm so excited to have a predictable co-pay!

I just gave Palmer some ice cubes. it is too hot!
