I love my island.
girl scout troop 147 celebrated their 30th anniversary of service.
for six years, I wore that uniform. I watched the girls put up flags at one of my former flag posts.
of the six years I served, I did the visitor's center one year, the governor's summer residence three years, and I was in senior leadership my last two years and so I didn't have a permanent flag post one year and fired the canon my last year.

there was no ghost hunting, but we did chill out behind the library and watch the bats for a good long time, which was deeply enjoyable.
