over the past few weeks, I've had this weird pressure on the right side of my belly. my lymph nodes are swollen, and I've been running a fever on and off. I've also had some pretty bad vertigo and nausea. yesterday, it got to the point that I couldn't stand it anymore, and so I called my doctor and asked what I should do. he got me in today for an appointment, and sent me directly from his office to the emergency room for fear that my apendix was going to blow.

in the er, I was rushed into a room, where a doctor ordered a liter of fluid via IV, a full run of blood work and an ultrasound. everything came back normal. the doctor gave me a prescription to treat my symptoms and told me to follow up with my doctor for a CAT scan.

I'm dying here.

I actually cried when I was discharged because I had to leave in so much pain and with nothing resolved. my dad was with me most of the afternoon, and he said it was good that they didn't have to cut me open, but I feel like I'm reliving the time of my life before my heart condition was diagnosed when I was told nothing was wrong and I kept getting sent home as if everything was in my head. just make me better! please!
