To recap yesterday totally kicked ass!!!! ♥

But last night my OCD really kicked in. I was on the computer until 1 am. When I got off the computer I wasn't really feeling sleepy and KidGumby was busy playing video games so I decided to lay in bed and read. While I was getting comfortable in bed, I looked over at our bookshelf and I noticed these three books out of place. So I got up to put them in the right place and that was where it all started. I was up until 3 am sorting out books, dusting my stuffed animals and making myself a cozy little place to read in our bedroom. We had a rockingchair downstairs in the livingroom that I brought upstairs to add to my cozy reading corner and some pillows and a blanket. When Kid finally came to bed we layed there talking for I don't even know how long, but it felt like a long time. And even after he fell asleep I layed awake in bed just thinking about all the changes I wanted to make to the apartment. I woke up at 830 am, because I had to piss really bad and when I crawled back into bed I couldn't fall back asleep so I picked up a book and read for an hour while I waited for Kid to wake up.

After we were both awake I got on SG and made a few comments. I called my mom and asked her to go out to lunch with me and to go shopping so I could pick up some of the things that I wanted to get to make the apartment super groovy.

So at noon my mom and I went out to lunch and then we headed off to Wal-Mart. But before that let me tell you a little story about lunch. For the past three days I have had pretty much nothing but fajitas. I love fajitas. But since I don't eat meat I just say I want veggie fajitas and every waitress I have had has been so against the no meat thing. I mean how hard is that to just not put meat on them or why is that so odd. GRRRRR!!! I hate being questioned like that it's so annoying. And anyway when our bill came it said Chicken Fajitas and it was the same price as the chicken fajitas which I find totally obsurd, why should I have to pay for something I didn't have? When I asked the waitress about it she said that was the way that it had to be rung up and that there was nothing they could do about it. I was so pissed. I mean it's like how hard is it to take off two dollars or to not put my drink on the bill? So I guess I won't be going back to that restaurant and just because I was pissed I didn't leave her a tip. I kinda feel bad about that now, but oh well, there should have been something she could have done.

So anyway, then we headed to Wal-Mart I spent about $50.00 on a bunch of stuff that totally makes my apartment super duper cute now. I bought these three towels that I hung on the rack in the bathroom just for decoration, I bought a towel rack, where we can now hang our towels, I bought some really cute halloween window clings, I bought a floor lamp, I bought two blue pillows to match our blue couch, since the red ones really didn't match and I bought some orange and purple halloween lights that I hung up in the kitchen. After spending the whole afternoon shopping I then got to come home and put all this awesome stuff up. I am so happy. It's like everywhere I look in the apartment there is something new. All for only $50.00.
