Let's talk about porn...

Seriously.

The reason I am bringing up this topic is because as I was sitting here finishing up my work for the week, I'm watching Nightline, and they were doing a segment about the porn industry and how its now suddenly suffering due to the internet (huh?) and pirating (that I could see). At the recent Adult Industry Con in Vegas,...

most of the porn I like is the ones that are suppose to be guys picking up girls and first time porn girls, I know none of that stuff is real but the girls look like girls I may see in one of my classes, or at the mall.

I think its soft core porn, I've heard play boy called that, so I think SG may be in that category, but some may just consider it erotica, but some one once said "the only difference between erotica and porn is the lighting", I kind of go in between on this topic.
punknitemike:
since i found SG, i pretty much gave up porn! not totally, but for the most part! like i probably have only seen like 3 dvds of actual porn. i used to have VHS stuff but that was back in the day before i was on SG! i like your idea of needing to have sex to equal porn, very good point! i find SG as more of a pinup / erotica site while being artistic. however, those who don't know SG would definitely consider it porn.

So here's what's going on in my life:

- Sevi is convinced I have OCD because I spent three days gluing peas to things.

- Speaking of Sevi, he sold another painting. Go him!

- I am currently shopping around for a web designer. If you are one or know one, let me knowl

- I've been spending most of my time on my little...

What did you glue peas to, sounds like fun.

So is Sevi a working artist? How many has he sold?

What is LOA? I'm glad you are feeling ok, what kind of health things are you looking for?

I hate the Laundromat to.

What is the book about?

That is why I don't have many guy friends, I hate testosterone, I hate the way males always compete, its always a pissing contest and they are always marking there territory.
ckdexterhaven:
Good luck on your little bidniss, hope you make lots of cashola. I still treasure my bubble pipe pouch. wink

I think everyone has OCD to a certain extent, usually when I'm bored and heavily caffienated I'm quite the OCD sufferer. I mostly have friends of the opposite gender, so I can sort of appreciate your need for de-testosterization in your life. I guess I could use some de-estrogenation in mine. Or not. smile

Happy Year of the Fire Pig!

Here's what the new year holds for a dragon like me:

I'm sorry I haven't been around. Things have been a little key-ray-zee ever since I got back from California. Crazy good though, but busy. I promise I'll try and be around more soon.

Be positive,

I left my heart in SF.

As promised, the highlights of my trip to SF:

* Murphy strikes again. The airlines loses my luggage somewhere between San Diego and San Francisco. I'm pissed, but prepared. I have a change of clothes in my carry-on. I yell, and my bags are delivererd to the loft the next day.

* Met Robert for the first time. I...

Heh, I always pegged you as the Marlo Thomas type. Actually, no I didn't. wink
They make some really good cookies in SF. If there's one thing San Franciscans are good at (besides giving people the gay), it's making cookies. The Zoo rules. If you liked the one in SF, you should go to the San Diego zoo next time you drop by. Sorry I didn't get to see you, truth is I'm not in SF much anymore. It's because of family issues, long story. I demand touristy SF pictures. Preferably with you either drunk, or half naked. biggrin

ive never been out West before, sounds enticing though!

ya gonna make it out to dayton next weekend for the gem city heart attack tattoo con and the punk nite prom? hope ya can, lots of SGers are coming! good times will be had!

I left my heart in San Francisco

SF was fucking great. I can't wait to go back. It was great to see old friends and make new ones. I'll post lots of details and pics, just gimme a few days to decompress.

Because its a new year with a new frame of mind, I've chosen a new username. For one, "artgrrl" was never meant to...

Blah... should be sleeping, but so not tired. Kinda stressed out, a lot on my mind. Trying to scrape enough money together for this damn trip. I shouldn't say "damn" trip, I'm really looking forward to it, but like everything else in my life, everything has to happen at once. Had a tire blow on the freeway tonight, and had a pipe burst on Saturday....

I'm sorry that I didn't respond to you sooner. Sometimes I just don't feel like talking about myself very much. My health probably has something to do with that, too.

My new year is off to a good start though. I was able to have the first five days of the year off. I spent my Christmas money on computer upgrades--a new 22" flat panel monitor, a new APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and new Logitech speakers. I'm trying to turn all of my computer equipment into the (new) black and silver. It seems that computer white (or gray) has become outmoded. I'm into the new colors, now. wink

My New Year's Resolution of finding a girlfriend is shaping up pretty well. I've had a date with this woman twice now--and she's asking for more. I'm really excited about it, but I shouldn't get my hopes up too high only to have them deflated later. At least she lives in Ann Arbor, so there isn't a long drive involved. She has two kids though and not a lot of time on her hands, so she has to work me in when she can find someone to watch her two daughters. Hopefully, I will get to know her well enough so that I'll be able to spend time with all three of them eventually.

I attended an SG event in downtown Detroit last night. It was bar night with $2 PBR. Tons of pictures were taken. SG Annisa was tending bar. I got home really late because I got lost in downtown Detroit, which is not recommended let me tell you. Luckily, I was in the business district so it was pretty safe.

Work has been pretty busy lately. Plenty of sports officiating to do. The $125-$150 Saturday tournaments are nice to work since the Ann Arbor Recreation Department is cutting back due to budget constraints.

Have fun visiting San Francisco. My sister visited there once. I definitely would like to go there sometime. I'm sure that it has a really progressive atmosphere. I only wish that it were warmer there. Hopefully, the weather will be good for you.

Take care. smile -H.C.

Well, it looks like the universe has decided to be good to me, at least for a while. The party was a blast. At least from what I remember. wink It felt really damn good to be a social being again. Of course, I made entirely too much food, but it will save me from cooking for a couple days. And timberwolf brought homemade fudge. Mmmm......

Quick update on a cigarette break, then I shall get back to work:

- Feeling pretty normal again. Of course, normal is relative. But still a good thing.

- Christmas shopping done, packages mailed, gifts wrapped and under the tree.

- Painted the kitchen (green).

- Gearing up for the party. After a stress-induced, mini breakdown yesterday, got a lot done, and now just have...
