I'm actually currently not a bar-tender at the place that I work, though I have been in the past, right now I'm strictly a food server. Though I do serve drinks from time to time. I actually prefer the food part, because of the fact that you mentioned. Drunks suck, big time. But the money is pretty impressive, I have to admit. So you paint? That's cool, poetry and writing is my main creative outlet. So are you as excited as I am about Clerks 2 coming out soon? It's gonna rule, you know this...

i just bought a window AC unit for the living room, i already have one in the bedroom. With both of them on full blast + the ceiling fan on high, I can only keep it to about 85degrees in here.

that's fucked! my mom has occassionally pulled that shit on me. when i bring up that i gave her $300 (when i was only making about that much every two weeks) to save the fucking house (it was the last little bit she needed, if i didn't she would have been screwed), she always throws in my face that she did this and this and this when i was a child. argh! that's the parent's job! i was 20 when i gave her that money, i had zero obligation to do so. and she still likes to call me selfish. and that's not even the only time i've given her a large amount of money (she brings home $600 + per week, and some how she's still always broke )... and that's the reason i'm still stuck living here... every time i'd get some money saved, she'd need like 3/4 of it and by the time she'd pay me back, i'd need the money to pay bills or something so i couldn't save it.
argh, mother's are shit sometimes.

In print I always seem serious and brooding. The short of it is I am breaking up with somebody amazing, because neither of us are ready for a relationship, and some small dishonestys on my part. This process has been like a mirror, I see and understand all these things about myself that I have ignored, or thought I was past. I have decided to makes some serious changes as a person, and it's going to be very hard and very lonely. There it is...

I got a monster spider bite a couple of weeks back. It ended up swelling from my elbow to my armpit, so I went to the ER and they put me on Prednizone. I love spiders...why must they bite me??

I can see why people might get riled up at some of FTR's articles. Having said that, I can tell that there's a lot of his material is deliberately written in push-the-envelope fashion, its purpose being to figure out what material will and won't fly on this site. Until then, I pretty much argue the topic with the posters and stay out of the critiquing of the topic style itself.
