Seriously, I could write you a 10 page essay on any subject of your choosing, but I can't write a paragraph bio on myself. But I have to, and SOON, for an upcoming project and I've been staring at the computer for an hour looking at a blank word document. I need help.
I feel better about the previously mentioned situation. I'm taking the wait-and-see approach for right now. I talked to my grandmother yesterday and I've determined that nothing is serious enough that it needs my immediate attention, so I've leaving things as they are for now. As for the future, we'll see, but I won't be held hostage by what "could be". I'm living life now, thankyouverymuch.
I really want to go out dancing. REALLY really bad. I think it's because this is the week I should have been back in Chicago and I've been making myself all nostalgic by listening to Derrick Carter and Greenskeepers. Le sigh. I love my friends here in the Cinci area, but they are all popping out kids and can never go out. And then they want to talk about daycare and diapers, and I have absolutely nothing to contribute. And not a single one of my friends back in Chicago is breeding- it's weird. I like kids. I like their kids. But I feel like I'm no longer allowed to sit at the grown up's table.
It's fucking hot again. Like triple digits hot. I can't wait until Fall.
Question (and possibly a stupid one) for all you tech heads:
I have an ipod. I use itunes. blah blah. I want to get a 2nd MP3 player (doesn't necessarily have to be Apple), to be able to keep a completely SEPARATE collection of music, but on the SAME computer. Is this doable? Basically I have maxed out the GB on my ipod, and thought I might get a 2nd, smaller MP3 player just for say, my hiphop and jazz... does that make sense? But would the 2 players conflict?
Anyhoo - I should get back to work. Or staring at a blank page, ya know- whatever.
