Cupid is Pissed
Something has been in the air this past week. I talked to both of my oldest and dearest girl friends this week and one is getting divorced and the other is leaving her boyfriend of over a decade. My sister is also currently planning her escape from her assholefuckface boyfriend ('bout time). My friends down the street are entering couples' therapy, my step-brother dumped his girlfriend, and Sevi and I had our annual fight, but it was so bad I was about an inch away from booking a bus ticket up to Chicago (things are better now). And a lot of this was out of nowhere! What the hell is up? Did anyone else experience any relationship craziness over the past few weeks?
On the Mend?
So, ever since my last flare up about 2 months ago, I've actually been feeling pretty good. I've been practicing Reiki again, and doing daily self treatments and I really feel an improvement. I've been taking my vitamins, eating well, doing some yoga again, and, yeah, I feel good. Like really good. Maybe not a hundred percent, but certainly better and stronger than I have in a long time. I feel so good in fact that I've decided to go back to work. I figure if I keep doing what I'm doing and stay positive, there shouldn't be a problem. The law of attraction, right? I miss working. And not just the money, but other aspects as well. The social aspect, the daily challenges... I don't know. And in the spirit of positivity, I sent a resume out for my dream job...
The Journey Continues
... and the very next day was contacted to set up an interview. Keep in mind that this was the employment equivalent to sending that college app off to Yale or Harvard, when you know you'll wind up going to a state school. Granted, I spent 5 hours on that cover letter, but still. I'm super duper stoked... this would be the opportunity of a lifetime.

I've never used a shower head, but from what I've heard, I definitely should. pulsing seems to be the thing for me.
the *ahem* was referring to pissed off cupid, and that I think you very fairly could count me in. it may have been four weeks ago, but I think my drama counts. fortunately I think it's getting much much better
