Le Sigh.
My poor, dear Sevi. Turns out he not only broke his arm, he pretty much pulverized it. The radial head (I think I have that right) of the right arm is splintered into a million pieces. Well, maybe not a million, but humpty dumpty is not going back together either way. They're going to have to go in, remove all the little pieces, and replace it with a robo-arm. Or something like that. Sevi is actually really freaked out about having surgery, so I'm trying to keep spirits light with Army of Darkness references. (* any Penpal buds... you should rally up and send "get well" cards... it would make him happy.
) Surgery is scheduled for next Friday... apparently they're backed up because of the holiday (i.e. the doctors will all be golfing). They're saying that after physical therapy, 70% mobility is realistic. 
The press conference was fine. I was on the news, which was weird (seeing myself on tv). Honestly, I've been so exhausted with all the running back and forth to the pharmacy and the different doctors all over town, I haven't really had time to enjoy any of it. I'm really okay with it though because in this stupid accident, Sevi is really lucky. He may have crushed his arm, but it could have been his head. He's lucky he's not dead. And to think, a week ago I was bitching about having to shave my stupid head. Talk about perspective.
Anyhoo... I need sleep. There's been much too little lately If any of you have any experience with worker's comp, let me know... I'd like to talk to you...

im STILL waiting for my paycheck.. yeah, there were problems with it, i was supposed to get it on the 18th, getting clearance to get on payroll again, well, it took longer than it was supposed to... such bullshit.. sigh... ill let you know when i have some cash babe, its supposed to be by the end of next week.. we shall see.
