I'm thinking seriously about cutting my dreads off. I combed one out in the front to see what would happen. If I did, I'd probably go really short. On one side, I feel like if I cut them off, I'll wind up regretting it, but then again, it is just hair and will grow back. Another issue is if I wind up shooting another set, do I want dreads or to be dreadless?

well, i will be in Manassas, Virginia for my brother's wedding in August. but that's probably a long ways from where you take up residence. it's pretty close to DC
