I left my heart in SF.
As promised, the highlights of my trip to SF:
* Murphy strikes again. The airlines loses my luggage somewhere between San Diego and San Francisco. I'm pissed, but prepared. I have a change of clothes in my carry-on. I yell, and my bags are delivererd to the loft the next day.
* Met Robert for the first time. I LOVE him! He reminds me of George from Grey's Anatomy.
* Got to hang off the side of the trolley on the way to Fisherman's Wharf. It was so fun... I felt like That Girl.
* Met the crazy "Dog Guy".
* Went around the bay on a booze cruise that our group promptly took over.
* Got to spend time with Tigger, Jimmy, and JP. I felt like I was 17 again. I really miss them.
* Sasha and I got matching tattoos.
* Got a behind the scenes tour of SF Zoo and got to walk around afterhours at sunset when it was completely deserted. So fucking cool.
* Ate warm fortune cookies fresh off the conveyor belt at a factory in Chinatown.
* Bought some new glass in the Haight (I'm such a fucking tourist).
* Went to the Kid Robot launch and trade party for the new Azteca line of Dunny toys. I bought 2 Dunny and a Smorkin' Labbit.
* Went to Muir woods and hugged trees.
* Ate cookies. Those were some good cookies. I mean really good.
* Talked to Booboo. I guess there was a slight chance of him meeting us in CA, but couldn't get out there due to work. None the less, it was so good to hear his voice. I got very emotional.
* Went to the "End Up", one of SF's finest gay clubs. Jimmy got us on the list. Just like the good old days.
* Jimmy putting 10 habaneros in the quesadillas "because they were small". I walked out of the bathroom and felt like I had been maced.
* Met Ben Stein on the plane ride on the way home. Bueller?
Ahhh, good times. I'm going to go back as soon as possible, I really did have a blast. Exactly what I needed, I feel so re-energized. *Sigh* And now on to the picture show!

They make some really good cookies in SF. If there's one thing San Franciscans are good at (besides giving people the gay), it's making cookies. The Zoo rules. If you liked the one in SF, you should go to the San Diego zoo next time you drop by. Sorry I didn't get to see you, truth is I'm not in SF much anymore. It's because of family issues, long story. I demand touristy SF pictures. Preferably with you either drunk, or half naked.
ya gonna make it out to dayton next weekend for the gem city heart attack tattoo con and the punk nite prom? hope ya can, lots of SGers are coming! good times will be had!
