Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Mine was nice and low key. Since then, been busy, busy, busy. So much to do before my trip. Please buy something from my shop and help support my SF trip. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year.

My new year is off to a good start though. I was able to have the first five days of the year off. I spent my Christmas money on computer upgrades--a new 22" flat panel monitor, a new APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and new Logitech speakers. I'm trying to turn all of my computer equipment into the (new) black and silver. It seems that computer white (or gray) has become outmoded. I'm into the new colors, now.
My New Year's Resolution of finding a girlfriend is shaping up pretty well. I've had a date with this woman twice now--and she's asking for more. I'm really excited about it, but I shouldn't get my hopes up too high only to have them deflated later. At least she lives in Ann Arbor, so there isn't a long drive involved. She has two kids though and not a lot of time on her hands, so she has to work me in when she can find someone to watch her two daughters. Hopefully, I will get to know her well enough so that I'll be able to spend time with all three of them eventually.
I attended an SG event in downtown Detroit last night. It was bar night with $2 PBR. Tons of pictures were taken. SG Annisa was tending bar. I got home really late because I got lost in downtown Detroit, which is not recommended let me tell you. Luckily, I was in the business district so it was pretty safe.
Work has been pretty busy lately. Plenty of sports officiating to do. The $125-$150 Saturday tournaments are nice to work since the Ann Arbor Recreation Department is cutting back due to budget constraints.
Have fun visiting San Francisco. My sister visited there once. I definitely would like to go there sometime. I'm sure that it has a really progressive atmosphere. I only wish that it were warmer there. Hopefully, the weather will be good for you.
Take care.
