* I've been spoiling the shit out of Stabis... I went out and got a variety of treats, Catsip, catnip, and I've been giving them to him liberally. He seems to still be doing okay, but he is getting awfully thin. He's my favorite dirty old man.

* This morning when I got up and went to the kitchen for breakfast (tea, banana and bagel - in case you were curious), I noticed 3 bottles of La Fin du Monde beer atop the fridge. This is the world's best beer (according to Sevi) and better be at the usual $8 a bottle price tag. The thing is... I didn't buy them. And I know Sevi didn't buy them - I know exactly how much change he has in his pocket right now, not to mention I can't see him spending $24 dollars on three beers at this point in financial time. So where did they come from? Obviously, someone must have giving them to Sevi, but he didn't say anything when I saw him today. But who would give him such an expensive gift? Stay tuned for the next chapter in the great beer mystery...

* I'm really excited about getting my sewing machine finally. I know I already said it, but it's been such a long time coming and now I'm finally getting it! Now I can make the curtains I want, and I really want to make a quilt. I haven't done any sewing in forever, and I don't think I could make anything too fancy, but I want to work up to making slip covers for the sofas. (If anyone out there has any info on this, let me know!)

* Though my face has healed, there is a point on my lip that is still quite painful. Its not on the inside where they made in incision, but on the outside, in the middle, right above the lipline. There is nothing there to see... no bump, no scratch, no redness. It just hurts. I suppose it could just be some scar tissue underneath the surface, but I need another source of pain on my body like I need a hole in my head - and I've had a few of those too!

* I took out the surviving flowers from my birthday arrangement (I can't believe there is any still alive!) and rearranged them in one of Carol's crystal vases. Honestly... I think it might actually be prettier than before. Tomorrow, I'll take a picture, and maybe one of the new living room too.

* Have you seen this? Fucking ridiculous. I'm so over it. It used to be that you couldn't get one unless you preordered. Now you can't even preorder the shit. And I wouldn't trust Sony with its first wave of consoles anymore anyway. We had to replace our first gen PS2 twice because of common problems. Bullshit. The Wii... that's another story...
