I was also treated to dinner and a homemade flourless double chocolate torte, which was absolutely sinful. Since I was still very "under-the-weather" I basically just took it easy, played a lot of video games and hung around the house in my pajamas. Not a bad day at all.
My face is almost back to normal, and I guess that's a good thing. Today was actually the first day in a while that I had any amount of energy, which was nice. Hopefully, it will last.
I've been glued to the tv lately following the lastest scandal out of Washington. I love watching the Republicans squirm. Dennis Hastert's press conference this afternoon was interesting. Either he's a fool or cocky or both. "The buck stops here" and "I'm not going to resign" basically says to me "yeah, I knew about it, but fuck you, you ain't getting rid of me". As far as I'm concerned, anyone who knew about it and did nothing needs to go and Foley should get prison time. If the same thing had happened on Dateline: To Catch A Predator, the guy would already be in handcuffs and anyone who knew about it would be branded something like "the inner sanctum of the dark world of child predators". Like, during the press conference today, I half expected Chris Hansen to step into frame and ask the Speaker to 'have a seat'. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about... uh... nevermind.
And now for something completely different...
xo

That was nice of her.
Those are pretty flowers.
I've never had chocolate torte.
Yes it is very sick, did you see the interview where this guy tried to compare this to the Clinton thing, how dumb is that. They're just trying to hold there head above water.
