Sevi and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean today... I thought it was very entertaining. Better than the first in fact. I really wanted to see Lady in the Water, but it was Sevi's turn to pick. Didn't get to see the Transformers trailer though, which was a little disappointing,
Speaking of Sevi... an older woman at his work named Hazel (whom I've never met) gave him presents to give to me! These beautiful silver cuff beads for my dreads! I guess she wears them in hers. I was so tickled! So I made her a thank you card and I'm 'gifting' her back. I just thought it was such a sweet gesture.
I've decided to try to teach myself Vietnamese. It may sound random, but we were actually planning on moving to Vietnam before I got sick. My friend Jake has lived there for almost 10 years, and now works as what would be considered the equivalent of asst. principal at a school that teaches English. I still hope to make it over there one day if I can get a grip on my health issues, so I'm studying now. I really think I need to get the tapes though. Or maybe get a tutor, but I don't think Cinci has a large Vietnamese population.
I probably should be working right now, but I'm just not in the mood. I have August 1 as a deadline for 3 articles, and I've only finished one. Bleh. One of the remaining pieces I will be able to crank out with little to no effort, but the other is going to take me some time. I have all this week to work on it, so I'm not sweating as of yet.
I've been chain smoking like a fiend. I so need to quit. The patch made me crazy, and Zyban and the gum makes me barf, so I'm waiting for the release of Chantix. Normally I wouldn't be so gung-ho about a Rx, but let's face it... I'm addicted. I guess I should count my blessings that it's the only thing I'm addicted to considering my genetics. I'm also considering hypno-therapy... has anyone out there tried it?
I think I'm going to make a midnight snack... the only thing I've eaten today was popcorn at the movies, and Sevi ate most of it. I don't know where he puts it. I've seen him eat an entire pizza pie in one sitting, and then go for snacks an hour later. Damn boy and his high metabolism. Says his feeding his pet tapeworm Gary. Ew...

And yeah, a few years ago. My mom tricked me into eating deer meat. I cried for like an hour after I found out.
But the food was freakin' awesome.
And hey, it's got a free toy inside. How can I not refuse? I prefer extra salty Canadian bacon bandages. I like having that extra salt on my open wounds. Grows hair on my chest.
