Between my neighbors and I, we share 3 plots and a few sections of community area in our back yard. I have a three year-old blackberry bush with a very high yield expected. I plopped in some chili, cayenne, and bell peppers. (Last year I had habenero and jalepenos, too.) I have tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, chives, cilantro, sage, chamomile, oregano, and lots of different flowers. Last year the yard was over-run by sunflowers and it was fantastic... helps that one of my neighbors is a horticulturalist and another is the IL Orchid Society President.

Well, the get together wasn't a complete distaster.
Lunch was definitely good....though reserving the table for 15 people was apparently unneccessary.
And then Fireside was closed and I was wishing I had people's phone numbers to re-plan...
But, ended up going to an "art night" get together a friend was having nearby and that was fun

Seen all the films! Finally. I loved the 3rd one - I know some hard core fans slagged it, but I found it very moving and a great climax - especially compared to Disney inspired 1 and 2!
How are you doing? Last weekend was good for me - I should write about it in my journal as we all did an event for Kerrang and SG - was a launch party for some CD, and apart from having to wear very dodgy t-shirts depicting the words 'Metal Mania', it was a great night.

did you meet LadyK at the exchange? she has lovely big eyes that chase me, but don't tell her that.
we should start SG things that aren't loud in bars and maybe more specialized, like a big comic book exchange or something... a fest where we can let out inner geek flag fly. although I have nothing against loud and in bars anymore.
