So, usually I'm not one for midnight showings.
But, my brother made plans to go, and he and I went..with a bunch of friends.
And...holy shit! "Batman Begins" is great!
For me, it's up there with Bruce Timm's animated version as my favorite adaptation of the character to a medium outside of the comics (which, admittedly, I haven't read in quite a while and am way more familiar with the cartoon continuity). Though, the animated version is still my favorite.
But "Batman Begins" is still pretty damn cool and completely worth seeing and the sound is amazing.
I only wish most directors nowadays would learn how to pan back and keep the camera steady during action sequences 'cause the shaky close-up stuff gets annoying. It can get confusing too, though it really didn't for me with this movie.
It rocks!! Go see it.
