So, was suppose to see Pan's Labrynth with JTemperance on Thursday.
I did leave home a little late, but figured I could still make it in time for the 5:10 show.
That was until I ran into the Traffic from Hell. It was horrible...more than usual.
So it was decided we'd go to the 7:30 show.
I finally got off the expressway, then finally found a parking space, met JTemperance at...I think it was called Hinterbar..German name, it was in Logan Square.
We hung out, talked, checked out the bartender's mid-riff and her Brian Froud inspired tattoo.
Then...we kinda realized it was 8:30...oops.
So, he knew about a show that another SGC member's (who's name I forget right now) band was playing. So we headed to Liar's Club for what turned out to be a late show.
What I heard of the music was good, but I was kinda tired and kept dozing off in my chair. The band we came to hear was the second one, then we headed out.
Despite missing the movie and the horrific traffic, not a bad day.

do you think Ghost Rider will be a good movie? ive heard mixed reviews so far... ill probably end up waiting for it on dvd rental anyways...

Hope you didn't try to make it out last night ... I'm pretty sure we were there well past 10. I didn't make it home until 1:30 or so, but a couple of us went across the street for beer afterwards. Are you coming Friday?
