Hope everyone's doing well.

Everyone's so busy and I'm still sitting around, playing video games and looking for a job...

Oh, but I do have a whole lotta CDs to listen to now smile

(Need to write me a cover letter too to go with the resume I keep sending out)

Hit Wizard World on Saturday which was definitely fun. Came away with comics. Mostly from artists' alley and a few from the Top Shelf booth (which had a lot of...

Copied and pasted from what I just left in the SGC group 'cause I'm lazy:

Coming up soon, I know. Apologies for the late notice.
But, it's finally here, finally. The reception for the Elmhurst College Artists' Capstone is on May 3rd from 5:30-7:30
It starts in the Founder's Lounge in the Frick Center,...

I'm still stuck on switching keys because it's not just the vocal melody but the music too. Surely there must be some computer program out there that will take the sheet music and convert it to a different key?

Well hey, semester officially starts on Tuesday. Finally.
Of course, from the syllabus I got emailed for the Capstone course (Captstone=final project), looks like I'm gonna have to step it up this semester. Or, well, procrastinate...which I kinda don't want to do. Must...not...be lazy...

Sooo...TCM shows Five Easy Pieces which was a good, if bleak movie. Then they show this old, stop-motion with-people, driving safety...

So, general laziness that first week or so of Christmas break..except for work.
Then...just depression brought on by that inactivity..staying up late, waking up late..
Just starting to straighten out again..mm..about a week ago. Maybe I really should've taken a J-term..still another two weeks 'til classes start for me.

Of course, that inactivity and depression led to me being apathetic about switching or anything when...

Update!

...well, ok, not too much interesting right now.
Semester's over, and I was going to wait 'til I updated Dev Art with new stuff to post here, but...felt like typing...um...not much..

Good to see everyone, meet new people on Saturday. Pretty nice turnout, despite the snow.

I don't know, I click on "new post" with mixed feelings.
Should I vent and complain about loneliness and the usual crap? But then, why bother?
This semester's almost over, then..one more, and..then I can really get to changing more things.

I'm going to try using a day planner so I can remember things, like taking time out to call people, try making plans..that's if...

Good idea - Day planners are awesome! I use mine all the time. If I didn't, I'd easily forget half my plans and stand people up on a regular basis.

good to see you last night!

All right, at Salome's request, and for everyone else's entertainment, or misery...more about Crooked Little Vein
(verbally, usually not that great at describing stuff I like, but usually better in writing/typing)

It's a noir/detective/road story with things like Godzilla bukkake and injection of saline into genitalia..heh
That's just a couple of the strange/disturbing/usually hilarious things/people "burned out private detective and self-styled shit magnet Michael McGill"...

Well, things are about as uninteresting as usual

However, everyone should read Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis (yes, it's a novel)
