It is time for new crazy blog action.

...

Ummm...never been a big "trekkie", but I did like the new Star Trek movie. Was lots of fun smile
Speaking of fun sci fi, are any other comic readers out there reading Nova? It is a blast and Abnett and Lanning seem to enjoy messing with Richard Rider.
The Sword by the Luna Bros. also contains plenty...

The soundtrack to FLCL is the best part of the whole strangeness. In fact, I've been thinking of using a song by The Pillows (either that or TsuShiMaMiRe) for a burlesque piece. Oh, and didn't you know I'm a time traveler? wink

Page 20 soon to be made into digital form. (should get an LJ or something specifically for the comic..maybe)

My two cents on Watchmen below. Why? Because, uh, nothin' else going on. Possible spoilers (for the movie and the graphic novel), but nothing major.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

So, Watchmen. Now, I saw the movie when I was in the middle of re-reading the graphic...

Im still hoping on my set too.
Im doing a series of watercolors right now ... Ill scan them soon~

I love the character! My everlasting sick eye and my birds. You got me perfect. ^.^
silversurfer:
I've read Watchmen once, and I thought it was pretty great. I'm ready to read it again. But I usually have trouble making time to read anything. I bet I'd appreciate it even more the second time though.

I liked the movie. It was too violent, but it looked great. I thought it did about as well as it could have in capturing the graphic novel. Which is not very, but still.

Anyway, good job on the Love Gone Wrong CD mix. I liked it a lot.

Torn between changing the comic schedule to "twice a week" from "Tuesdays and Thursdays" and leaving it alone..
While I haven't posted on time for a good few weeks now, that deadline still helps motivate me to get the pages done. I feel like if I say "twice weekly", I'll just procrastinate until the next week...

Soo..not able to come out much this month 'cause...

sauda:
Stick to a schedule. I gotta say, the way Sigmel (and I when I remember to) read web comics is to have bookmarks arranged by the day of the week. If you update twice a week with no specific day, we only check it once a week, and generally if the author doesn't actually update as frequently as advertised, we toss that comic in the once a month bin. More timely = more traffic, imho.

And yes, we're hyper organized like that. Or at least we try to be. blush

Good luck with the work!

Such an overwhelming response...
Either no one's read it, or no one has anything nice to say..
Well, actually, critique and feedback always help, so..either way, feel free to lay it on me.

New page up in which I spent more time on the art after getting a bit of feedback. Can actually see the difference between it and 6 in a few areas.

Site...

I've been reading it, I am waiting to see the first story arc before I open my trap.

We are watching
hysanadu:
I'm reading! It just sort of jumps in without any preamble, which is fine by me...but it helps to have some background. I'm waiting for the next installment!

Stupid lack of job market..

So, '09, huh? See how it goes.
Well, hey, things for the web comic are officially uploaded and there's a site out there, buut, I'm waiting to post a link until I'm finished getting some more content up.

Hey, winter's cold, sure, but it also seems to be the time of the short skirts and long boots combo..so, it's not...

New post? Sure, why not..

Apparently, I'm still not good enough for any prospective employers...which makes moving on with things and, you know, getting a life, much harder to do.
Have been developing a web comic, though...that I'll hopefully get up in another week.

Ah, Christmas...not sure if I can afford gifts for anyone this year...aand...not sure I care. Feeling extra apathetic this year

Highlights...

Should have a couple pics a little later on.

Soo...pretty sure stepping into a Best Buy or Gamestop this time of year is hazardous to the wallet...why do all the games I'm interested in come out in the same two month period? They couldn't spread it out more?
Ah well...I'm pretty sure I'm just looking to post something and don't know what to say or have nothing to say wink
Have some job applying to...

11/11 is gonna hhurt my wallet for sure.
Clone Wars Wii & DS games, the movie on dvd, and a new wave of action figures blush
darqkloud:

I can only play one video game at a time. Though Rock Band and Guitar Hero
don't count. So, luckily for me, I don't have the same problem.

But then, I don't even OWN a video game system now.
No time to play one. frown

Couldn't find a jacket that would work for your costume at the thrift store.
Nor could I find some blue pants I could destroy for my Hellblazer costume! blackeyed

Yeah, it's good seeing things that are creative and different.
And pretty fun, also.

so maybe...Giles from Buffy for Halloween? I dunno...would have to do the hair too...eh. And likely find some version of that "Vampyr" book prop...since making it..well, I'm definitely better with 2D than 3D forms of art..

Other than that random costume thought...well, okay, there's probably a few other things I could pour out here, buut...nope, not now.

Hope everyone's doing well.
I realllly wanted to...
